Working out is a multi purpose situation. Working out can increase heart health, can help you lose weight, but most importantly it can help you relieve stress and improve your mood. 

This by far was one of the most stressful weekends in my life (a very close second to the NCLEX). There were so many emotions felt now, before and during the draft. The best way that I know to calm myself (besides sleeping my life away) is working out. 
Across from the hotel we stayed at for the draft was a planet fitness. There was plenty of times I wanted to walk across that field and get to work! The painful thighs, sore arms and dripping sweat helps me forget everything else that is going on around me. 
It doesn’t matter what brings you to your workout all that matters is that you get there. Today my anger and stress will be what brings me there and it will fuel my workout to heights unimaginable. I will try to forget all the stress of the weekend and the draft and leave it at the gym. Whether drenched in sweat or just a quick jog just take 30 min out of the day and relieve your stress and anxiety. But above all… never miss a Monday.
